The artwork
In Greek mythology, Eros is the personification of desire and attraction. The artwork begins with his most immediate symbols—the heart and the arrow—then changes their logic.
The heart is broken into irregular fragments and recomposed without returning to a smooth, perfect surface. Red, black, ivory and gold separate the pieces and expose the tensions between them. Two arrows cross the composition from opposing directions: they disrupt the heart and, at the same time, connect what forms it.
In embroidery, fragmentation becomes material. Changes in thread direction, colour and density keep each section distinct while allowing the whole figure to remain legible.
The garment
A heavyweight unisex hoodie built on the Stanley/Stella Cruiser 2.0 (STSU177). Its 350 gsm brushed fleece is made from 100% organic ring-spun combed cotton. A double-layered hood, set-in sleeves and front pouch pocket give the piece a clean, substantial streetwear silhouette.
